Why I’m Participating in a Coronavirus Vaccine Trial

On January 20, 2020, while the whole world was watching the inauguration of U.S. President Joseph R. Biden, I was on my way to Grady Hospital in Atlanta to begin my own transition as a participant in a 2 year, 2 month coronavirus vaccine trial.

Why would someone who has dedicated her life’s work to natural healing participate in a COVID vaccine trial?

I want to share with you why I feel so passionately committed to doing what I can — however small a step that may be — to stamping out what the head of the World Health Organization called “an enemy against humanity.”

First, I will start with where we are now in the course of this pandemic.

According to The Washington Post, there are now three variants of COVID-19 that may be up to 70 percent more contagious.

That would mean that for every one person who contracts the virus, up to 600 people could become infected, leading to exponential increases in worldwide suffering and death.

Considering that there have already been 100,990,354 cases of COVID-19 worldwide and 2,177,611 deaths, I shudder to think what an exponential increase could mean for the human race.
