Mukula Mudra: Unfoldment

“When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive — to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.”

Marcus Aurelius

As you contemplate the New Year and all the wonderful things you hope to create — love, abundance, opportunities, fresh perspectives — there’s a yoga mudra you can use to call in the frequency of new begininngs.

When you are starting a new job, a new relationship, a new year or want to bring in fresh perspective, use Mukula Mudra.

This mudra resembles the bud of a flower before it unfolds.

How you perform Mukula Mudra:

  1. Bring the fingers of each hand together with your thumb in the shape of a flower bud.
  2. Point your palms upwards.
  3. As you hold Mukula Mudra, notice the blessings that are naturally coming into your life.

As you hold Mukula Mudra, use these affirmations:

I ALLOW FRESH NEW ENERGY INTO MY LIFE.

I AM POSSIBLE.

I AM READY FOR MIRACLES.
