Do you find yourself feeling everything intensely?
Can you literally feel how other people feel even if you have never met them?
Do you feel like you know how things will turn out even before they happen?
Do you feel overwhelmed by the pain and suffering of the world?
In this recording for the Natural Healing Show for UK Health Radio, medical intuitive healer Catherine Carrigan explains what highly sensitive people can do to become resilient enough to use their gifts for the highest good of all.
If you find yourself feeling depressed, anxious or overwhelmed by life, you may be a highly sensitive person, also known as an empath.
The past two and a half years have been especially challenging for many empaths.
If you recognize that you are an HSP — a highly sensitive person — realize you have been gifted.
Just like any other present someone may wrap up and hand you tied with a bow, a gift is no good unless you actually receive it.
Your gifts are of course for you but they are also for the highest good of all.
When you connect to your purpose, for the reason you are born, to the qualities and strengths you and you alone are here to share, you can develop the courage to go out into the world fearlessly and say what you need to say in the way that you and you alone are here to say it and to be and do what you and you alone are here to be and do.
You never know who you are here for — even if it’s one person, your soul purpose will give you tremendous strength.
Many highly sensitive people feel they are too fragile to withstand the chaos, trauma and trials of this life.
Numbing yourself with drugs — legal or illegal — may dull your experience but never totally resolve your issue.
Don’t feel like you have to shut yourself in, run away to another country or avoid life completely.
