Catherine Carrigan Now Offers Usui Holy Fire Reiki
After practicing and teaching Reiki for 18 years, I’ve recently had the privilege of studying Usui Holy Fire Reiki with William Rand, president of the International Center for Reiki Training.
When a long-term client first told me about Usui Holy Fire Reiki I admit I wasn’t too impressed.
But when I tuned in, I received guidance that Usui Holy Fire Reiki channels a higher frequency of healing energy than Usui Reiki developed by Japanese master Usui Mikao in the 1920s.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a spiritual practice that combines prayer, hands-on energy healing and channeling high vibrational frequencies that reduce your stress and can heal physical, emotional and mental diseases.
People of all ages, religions and walks of life can be attuned to the flow of this healing energy.
Once attuned, you can practice Reiki anytime, anywhere, both for yourself, other people, animals and even to create sacred space all around you.

I first learned Reiki from fellow yoga teacher Patricia Kilpatrick here in Atlanta in 2000.
In 2009, while visiting the Isle of Gigha in Scotland, I asked a fellow Reiki master, Nina Hovik of Finland, to re-attune me to Usui Reiki because I wanted to benefit from all the healing energy Nina had learned and channeled.
Even if you have become a Reiki master and practiced and taught for decades, you can continue to study and continue to receive attunements from others.
William Rand has studied and taught Reiki for over 30 years. He first developed Usui Holy Fire Reiki after working with a clairvoyant channel to benefit from the healing energy of Jesus and Sai Baba.
When you study Reiki, you receive a series of attunements, or in the case of Usui Holy Fire Reiki, ignitions to ignite the Holy Fire within yourself.
Reiki study also includes meditation, learning hands-on placements, history and the practice of actual energy healing.
During our class in April, William Rand went from group to group to give and receive Usui Holy Fire Reiki as we practiced.
When it came time for William to receive Usui Holy Fire Reiki from our group, I clairvoyantly saw Jesus put His hands on William as two other students and I put our hands on him.
It was then that I knew William Rand had been very blessed and that I was in turn privileged to study with William.
I practice some form of hands-on healing virtually every day I go to work, and it is common for me to see angels surrounding me when I practice energy healing, but it is a rare and special occurrence to see Jesus!
I knew that William Rand had spent years seriously and humbly devoting himself to the study of divine healing.
Afterwards, as we meditated and practiced more hands-on healing, I clairvoyantly saw Jesus put His hands around my hands. It looked as though my hands were in a prayer position with Jesus’s hands placed on either side of mine.
I’m happy to be able to offer Usui Holy Fire Reiki to my clients here in Atlanta.
What is healing? Healing happens whenever you receive Reiki. As I am always explaining, all illness, pain and disease is simply slowed down vibration. When you place yourself in the energy field of unconditional love, virtually anything can be healed.
