Be the Answer to Someone Else’s Prayers
Yesterday started out very much like any other day for me — praying in bed as I slowly woke up.
Still groggy from sleep, I got a call from a friend in Costa Rica.
A client there was having weird health issues and my friend — calling on her behalf — wanted to know what I thought was going on.
It was about 7:24 in the morning EST Atlanta time.
“She’s dehydrated. Tell her to eat more often — she’s not eating enough. I can have a session with her about 5 o’clock,” I said yawning.
At 9 a.m. I had a session by Zoom from a client in another state recovering from COVID. He reported feeling immensely grateful as his friend — from whom he had caught the virus — was faring much worse.
10:30 worked out with a long-term client on Zoom.
12 noon went to the gym for my own workout.
1:30 ate my gluten-free tortilla with cheese. I am a terrible rut eater and don’t really want to give up my bad habit of any variation of cheese on toast, the lunch of champions.
At 2 p.m. my client in England started our session by reading a list of how she had felt just one year ago.
I’m not making this up.
